Ruman Cyber Advisory was founded by Saleh AbuRumman, Principal Engineer in infrastructure and cybersecurity engineering. A graduate of DePaul University, Saleh earned both his Master’s in Network Engineering and Security and Bachelor’s in Data Science, graduating at the top of his class for designing and implementing a Zero-Trust Security Architecture for HIPAA-Compliant Enterprise Security Frameworks. — a model that merges healthcare compliance with next-generation infrastructure resilience.

As Principal Engineer, Saleh leads a select team of graduate engineers from DePaul University who share his passion for building secure, intelligent systems that meet the highest standards of compliance and performance. Together, they form the backbone of Ruman Cyber Advisory’s enterprise-grade solutions for healthcare and financial institutions.

Saleh’s professional experience spans over a decade with leading roles at Bank of America, Bank of Montreal, and National Equity Fund, where he engineered and secured critical enterprise systems. At Bank of America, he played a key role in the development of a major security automation initiative — designing a Python-based AI integration that reduced false positives across financial compliance systems by more than five years of accumulated inefficiency. His work streamlined sensitive data handling across enterprise security layers, improving accuracy, compliance, and operational efficiency.
